Well here's funny video of Park Tae-Hwan, who won a gold medal in the 400 meter freestyle and a silver in the 200 meter freestyle events at the 2008 Summer Olympics. He is the first Asian swimmer to win a gold medal in Men's 400 metre freestyle event, and the first Korean to win a medal in swimming.
Well the video is humorously titled "Park Tae-Hwan vs Jeju Hae Nyu" Jeju is name of the biggest island in Korea located at the south and Hae Nyu literally translates to "Sea Women" which means Sea Diver... They are known for free diving, often all year round in quite cold water, without scuba gear in order to harvest abalones, conchs, and a myriad of other marine products. It is thought that women are better at spending all day deep-water diving because they resist cold better.
The video initially makes you think it's swimming competition between these awkwardly matched... but it turns out that it's simply seeing who can hold their breath longer under water... See the below to find out who won the match...
