Written by coream at 7/23/2008 11:24:00 PMNom is Korean slang used when calling the guys in impolite way. And now, Nom Nom Nom is nickname tied to a comedy action blockbuster movie just released in Korea called The Good The Bad The Weird.
It's obvious that the title's inspiration comes from old Clint Eastwood's western movie... but this movie is a Korean spaghetti western that has spectacular chase and action scenes with comic twist which got great reviews from 2008 Cannes Film Festival.
Based in the thirties in the Manchurian desert. The story follows the three main characters which The Weird steals a map from a Japanese official, The Bad is paid to get it back, The Good is a bounty hunter who tracks them down.
All the actions were actual stunts from three main actors and movie took 2 years to complete. And it spent Korean movie record of $17 million to make the film. I can't wait to see the movie when it comes to states in early 2009, but here's trailer of the movie for little taste of what to come.
