GoStop is one of the most popular card games in Korea. The fast-paced card game is played with beautifully illustrated Flower Cards called "Hwa-tu". Little is known about the origin of the game, but GoStop is believed to have been introduced to Korea in the 19th century.

The deck consists of 48 cards decorated with landscapes, flowers, or animals and can be divided into 12 months comprising 4 cards each.

Although conceived for 2 or more players, it is generally 3 players to play the game for the case in Korea - its huge popularity even led to the following saying: "When 3 people gather, they are bound to play GoStop".
